Bath & Body Works is launching a new fragrance, Gingham — just in time for National Fragrance Day on March 21st.

Gingham won’t officially launch in Bath & Body Works stores nationwide until April 15th — but consumers will be able to take their first whiff of the scent on March 21st when a mini perfume spray will be available.

Gingham was created as “an expression of Bath & Body Works’ happy spirit and celebrate everything its customers love about the brand,” a statement says.

The fragrance was developed by Firmenich master perfumer Honorine Blanc. It blends bright florals and a hint of sweet citrus with notes of blue freesia, sweet clementine and soft violet petals for a fragrance that’s fresh, vibrant and happy.

Blanc says, “Each fragrance I create for Bath & Body Works has a story and a strong identity – for Gingham, I wanted to capture a fragrance that connects with the consumer, connects with nature and is the happiest fragrance ever.”

Blanc continues, “The ingredients and fragrance notes I selected were carefully chosen and embody the authenticity and optimism the brand has come to represent.”
